Dr Haushka LipCare, $13.95

My makeup artist, Angel Wright, turned me onto this stuff during my last AOL shoot and- since I’m a chronically chapped lip person- it was the answer to my prayers. The best part is, you can get it at Whole Foods!, which means I don’t have to step foot into the overwhelming and overpriced Sephora. (I totally recognize the irony in my last statement- just more ok overpaying for delicious food than face paint).

I use it with a little bit of lipliner in place of lipstick or gloss, and that’s how I justify it’s $14 cost. Plus, it smells delicious and clean…

Wow!!! $$$$ Way outta my budget!! I can feed the family a weeknight meal for the cost of that…lip balm?!!
Most def NOT for the average consumer! However…
    ***ding, ding, ding!!!***
Enter Carmex! Yes indeedy, that glorious red & yellow tube* which runs approx $1.89ish @Target!!
In my 40+ years, it IS hands down THE BEST lip balm+, yes, better than Burt’s Bees. If Carmex added the lip tingly sensation that is in BB, I’d rub it all over, lol…
We even use Carmex to keep our cuticles soft and beee-u-tiful!! Everyone in the family carries a tube, in fact, it’s on the permanent Back-to-School list and in everyone’s Christmas stocking!
Tip: Have several in a wicker basket in the cupboard next to all your stock items(i.e., toilet paper, toothbrushes, etc). It’s that much of a rock star item!!
    Promise!! <3 <3 <3
*Get the lip balm 'tube' … I do not like the squeezy thing that they offer as an alternate dispenser as this is more of a petroleum jelly consistency and does not last as long…
    Have a great day!! =o ]
