Unless you live in a tropical climate, it’s wise to change your window treatments for the colder months. Switch out lighter fabrics for thicker, preferably lined curtains. For one thing, the summer ones could probably use a trip to the cleaners! More importantly your will your home look cozier and actually BE cosier by insulating against the cold. Huge payoff for a task that just takes a few minutes. This doesn’t have to be a costly switch, there are plenty of affordable drapes out there. Here are some good winter options.
